Victoria Albert

This is Victoria Albert. It's one of the cottages on the Victorian Barn estate near Woolland. Sleeps up to sixteen people, which is a lot. There are five bedrooms and they all have their own bathroom, which helps with a big group.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not ultra-luxurious. The kitchen is separate from the main living area. There's a big dining table that seats everyone, a bar area, and a lounge with a large TV. There's also an extra shower room downstairs.

Outside, there's patio space with furniture and a private hot tub. You get access to the estate facilities too. That means an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a games room, and a few fishing lakes. There's also a play area for children.

The location is quiet, in the countryside. Sherborne is the nearest proper town, about a twenty-minute drive. It's got shops and places to eat. For walks, you can just head out from the door.

If you want to do more, there's plenty within half an hour. Sherborne Castle is close. For a day out, Stourhead gardens are about twenty-five minutes away. The Tank Museum at Bovington is roughly half an hour. If you'd rather go to the coast, Weymouth or the Jurassic Coast is about forty-five minutes to an hour.

Facilities are pretty comprehensive. Washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels included. There's on-site parking, a cot and highchair if needed, and an electric vehicle charger. It's a pet-free property.
