Ashwood

Ashwood is on the Woolland Estate in Dorset. It's a ground floor barn conversion, so everything's on one level. You come in through a shared hallway, then your own front door.

It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The open plan living area has a sofa bed as well. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was renovated a few years ago so it's modern inside, with underfloor heating.

The private patio has a hot tub and some outdoor furniture. The main shared facilities are a big part of the place. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a games room, and three coarse fishing lakes. There's also a play area for kids.

Location wise, it's very quiet. You're in proper countryside. For a walk from the door, you can head out into the estate or the lanes. If you want to drive, the Jurassic Coast is about half an hour away. That's where Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are.

Within a 30 minute drive you've got the Tank Museum at Bovington, Monkey World, and Corfe Castle. Sherborne with its abbey and castle is about 25 minutes north.

Facilities included: WiFi, a 50" Smart TV, dishwasher, bedding and towels. There's an electric vehicle charger on site and plenty of parking. No pets allowed.
