Byre
The Byre is a ground floor flat in a converted Victorian barn. The building was done in 2009, so inside it's modern and plain. Everything is on one level.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and both have ensuite showers. That's handy if you're two couples. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The living area is open plan.
You get your own patio with a table and chairs. It catches the sun. The view is over a small lake on the estate. There's a shared games room and an indoor heated swimming pool you can use. The pool is good if the weather turns. There's also a play area for children.
It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and possibly tractors about. The village of Woolland is tiny and quiet. It's proper countryside.
For getting out, you're well placed. The Jurassic Coast is about a 40 minute drive. Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are the famous spots. Blandford Forum is the nearest town for big shops, about 15 minutes away.
If you've got children, the Tank Museum at Bovington is close and they love it. Monkey World is about half an hour's drive. Sherborne with its abbey and castles is maybe 25 minutes.
In terms of stuff here, you've got a dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. There's also an electric vehicle charger. No pets allowed.
