Hollywood
Hollywood is one of three apartments in a converted barn on a bit of a farm estate. It's on the ground floor, and that row of three shares a hall to get to the front doors, but once you're in, the place is yours.
It sleeps up to six, with two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have zip and link beds, so you can have them as a king or two single beds. Each has its own ensuite shower room. The main bedroom also has a sofa bed if you need it. The living space is open plan: kitchen, dining table, and seating area all in one room. It's got underfloor heating, so it's always comfortable.
Outside, you have a private patio with a table and chairs, and your own hot tub.
The farm estate has shared facilities you can use. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a games room, and some fishing lakes. There's also an electric vehicle charger on site.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
Location wise, it's just outside the hamlet of Woolland, so it's very quiet. You look out towards Bulbarrow Hill. It's good for walking straight from the door. For the coast, you're looking at about a 40 minute drive to places like Lulworth Cove or Weymouth. Blandford Forum is the nearest proper town for shops, about 15 minutes by car.
Bath and Salisbury are both within an hour's drive if you fancy a city day out. For local walks and history, the National Trust has several properties nearby, and the Dorset National Landscape site has walking information.
Facilities include all the basics: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
