Wendys Wing

Wendys Wing is part of our farmhouse, we converted this end for our daughter Wendy to live in. It's in Greetham, which is a small village near Horncastle. The views from the windows are all over fields.

It sleeps two people in one bedroom. The beds can be a super king or two singles, you just need to let us know. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on the ground floor, no steps, which makes it straightforward. The wet room shower has grab rails. It's all wide enough for a wheelchair.

You get your own patio area outside the door with a table and chairs. It's a suntrap in the afternoon. There's a barbecue you can use. We can store bikes if you bring them. We accept up to two dogs, there's a charge for that.

Inside, it's one open room. The ceiling is high with beams, so it feels spacious. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi is included. There's a TV in the living area and another one in the bedroom.

The village is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are in Horncastle, about two miles away. It's a market town known for antiques, but it has good butchers and a Co-op too. There's a golf club just outside Horncastle.

For walking, you can start right from the door. The Lincolnshire Wolds are on the doorstep. You can drive into them in about ten minutes for more routes. The coast is about half an hour away. Skegness and Sutton-on-Sea are the main ones.

Lincoln is a big day out, it's about a 40 minute drive. The cathedral and castle are worth it. Useful links if you're planning: Lincolnshire Wolds for walking and cycling maps, and Visit Lincolnshire for general ideas.

Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair in the cupboard if you need them. Parking is right outside. The heating and electricity are all included.
