The Shepherds Bothy is on a hillside just outside Tetford. It's a detached house, so no one else attached. You can't miss the view, it's really the main thing. It looks straight out over the Wolds.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The bedroom ceilings are a bit low upstairs, because it's an old bothy. If you're very tall, mind your head.
There's a wood burner for the colder months. It gets the place warm. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for a dog. We take one pet.
The village shop and a pub that does food are about half a mile down the hill. For a bigger shop, Louth is seven miles away. It's a nice market town with proper butchers and that.
It's a good spot for walking. There are footpaths right from the door. If you want to drive somewhere, the coast at Mablethorpe is about half an hour. Lincoln is around 40 minutes for the cathedral or the Christmas market. Cadwell Park for the bikes is about 20 minutes away.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV in the living room.
