The Granary
The Granary is on our farm just outside Tetford. It's a converted farm building, stone and brick. You get the whole place to yourself, with the garden and parking right outside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well done and comfortable. The conversion opened up the downstairs, so it's one big living, kitchen and dining area. It's a bright space.
The stairs are the original ones. They're fine, but they turn a corner and are a bit steep, like old stairs are.
On the farm, it's quiet. You look out over fields. The village has a shop and a pub, both about a ten minute walk down the lane.
Horncastle is a market town about four miles away. Good for a wander, some antique shops and cafes. For a bigger day out, Lincoln is about a 30 minute drive. The cathedral is the main thing to see there.
You're in the Lincolnshire Wolds, so it's good walking country right from the door. For a specific walk, the Lincolnshire Wolds website has maps. If you like motor racing, Cadwell Park circuit is maybe 15 minutes by car.
The coast is about 16 miles east, so that's half an hour or so in the car.
What's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden has a patio and a barbecue. Sorry, no pets.
