The Tack Room is in Hareby, in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's a stone cottage that used to be part of the farm buildings. There are a couple of other cottages around the courtyard, but you get your own private patio area.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own shower room. It's a 4 Star, so it's well set up and comfortable. The ceilings are high with old beams. It has underfloor heating, which is nice on a cold morning.
It's very quiet here. Good for walking straight out from the door. You can cycle or ride on the lanes. The nearest proper shop is a few miles away, so you'll want to bring supplies or drive to the supermarket.
Bolingbroke Castle is about a mile away. It's an English Heritage site, mostly ruins now but interesting for a wander. The Snipe Dales nature reserve is three miles if you like that sort of thing.
Horncastle, about seven miles, is known for antique shops. The market town of Louth is fifteen miles. Lincoln is just under an hour's drive. The coast at Skegness is about forty minutes.
The cottage has a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets.
