Bankside Cottage
Bankside Cottage is on the Revesby Estate, near the village of Moorby in Lincolnshire. It's a detached place, set back from the road in its own bit of woodland, right by a reservoir. You look out over the water.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. There's a king-sized bed, two twins, and a single. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. It's an old cottage though, so mind your head on the beams upstairs.
You get the garden to yourselves. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you'd need. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, wifi, and parking right there.
You're welcome to bring up to two dogs. There's a highchair, cot, and stairgate if you need them.
Being on the estate, you've got private walks right from the door around the woods and the water. You can arrange fishing on the reservoir in season, or estate tours, if that's your thing.
For days out, Lincoln is about half an hour's drive one way, and the coast at places like Skegness is about half an hour the other. There are a few good airfield museums around here if you're interested in that history. The local pub is in Moorby village, a short drive away.
