Dragonfly Den is on the far edge of Horncastle, about a ten-minute walk from the town centre. It's a modern bungalow built for holiday lets, so everything is on one level.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a wet room. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The doors are wide and there are no steps, so it works well for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
You can bring one dog. There's a completely enclosed patio garden with a table and a barbecue. The garden gets the sun in the evening. There's bicycle storage under cover.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Everything is included, bedding, towels, electricity. There's a highchair, cot, and stairgate if you need them.
Horncastle is known for its antique shops. There's a Co-op for groceries and a few local pubs that do food. The main reason to be here is for the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, but it's very quiet. Great for cycling and walking straight from the door.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got the Wolds Wildlife Park. Lincoln is about 25 miles south, the cathedral is worth the trip. The coast at places like Mablethorpe or Skegness is a 40-minute drive.
