Inveravon Cottage is in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire. It's a semi-detached cottage on the edge of the town, end of a row. The garden's enclosed. You look out over fields of wheat, barley, and sprouts. It's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two double bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are fine.
The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine in a cupboard under the stairs. Bedding and towels are included. You can have a real fire in the lounge. The wifi works.
Outside there's a patio with a table, a BBQ, and a fire pit. The garden is fully fenced.
For getting about, it's handy. Falkirk station is just over a mile away. You can get direct trains to Edinburgh, Stirling, and Glasgow, all within about 30 minutes. That makes it easy for a day out without driving.
Locally, there's a lot to see. The Falkirk Wheel is about six miles away. The Kelpies are just next to it. Both are worth a visit. Bo'ness has a steam railway. Linlithgow Palace is about nine miles.
If you like walking, Carron Valley Forest is a short drive away. The coast isn't far either. You can get to places like Blackness or South Queensferry on the Forth in under half an hour.
We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry. Smoking isn't allowed inside.
