Tunturi

Tunturi is a lodge in Linlithgow, on a small family-run holiday park. It’s detached and very private, with good views over the fields. You're surrounded by Scots Pine woods.

It sleeps five in two bedrooms. There’s a king-size bedroom downstairs. Upstairs, there's another king-size with a single bed next to it, and it has the same view. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor. The ground floor one has a sauna that fits about four people.

The main living space is open plan. It’s practical. There’s a wood pellet stove that heats the place up quickly. The kitchen has what you need.

The park is quiet. Kids can run around on the grass safely. It’s a good base. Linlithgow itself has pubs and restaurants. You can get the train into Edinburgh or Glasgow in about half an hour. Stirling is about 30 minutes by car as well.

For things to do, you’re close to the coast. There's local fishing and horse riding. A few golf courses are nearby. For a proper day out, Linlithgow Palace is right in town, and the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies are about a 20-minute drive.

Facilities: it’s got a 4 Star rating. There’s parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. You can bring two dogs.
