Chicken Coop
This is the Chicken Coop. It's in Polmont, in the walled garden of Kinneil House. You can see the actual chicken run from the window.
It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. One room has a double sleeping platform. The other has single beds in a space that's like an egg-laying box, so it's good for kids.
The garden is shared with five other holiday homes. There's a shared hot tub, a BBQ, and some outdoor seating. It's a quiet spot with a bit of wildlife about.
You're right in the middle of things here. Edinburgh airport is about fifteen minutes away by car. Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres are half an hour. You can walk to woodland on the Antonine Wall in a couple of minutes.
The Kelpies are a five minute drive. The Falkirk Wheel is about ten minutes. For a longer day out, the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is under forty minutes.
In the Coop there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to four pets. It's particularly set up to be cat-friendly, with an option for a mesh enclosure around the door.
