The Treehouse is one of six holiday places in the walled garden of Kinneil House. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and has everything you need. It's not a hotel, it's a base.
It sleeps six, in two main bedrooms with a double bed and bunk beds. There's also a sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom, with a shower. It's open plan downstairs.
The thing is, it's built like a treehouse, with a separate little sleeping pod for kids. They can get to it by a tunnel from inside, or by walking around the deck outside. It's a fun setup for families. The stairs up to it are a ship's ladder, so they're steep.
Outside, there's decking. You share the garden, a hot tub, and a barbecue area with the other properties here. It's quiet. You'll see rabbits, sometimes deer. It feels cut off, but you're not.
Location is the main point. You're in Polmont, near Falkirk. It's about 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. Half an hour in the car gets you to the centre of Edinburgh or Glasgow. The woodland around the Antonine Wall is a two-minute walk from the garden gate. The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is under 40 minutes away.
Local things you might drive to: The Falkirk Wheel is about ten minutes away. The Kelpies are maybe fifteen. For a day out, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument are roughly half an hour. The coast at South Queensferry, for the bridges, is about 25 minutes.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right there. You can bring up to two dogs.
