The Treehouse is in Polmont, near Falkirk. It's one of six places built in the walled garden of Kinneil House. It's detached, built under a big cherry blossom tree, with three round rooms on different levels.
It sleeps four in two rooms. The top room has a super king bed that can be split into twins. The middle room has fixed bunk beds. There's one bathroom with a shower.
The whole thing is on a deck, so it feels like you're outside even when you're in. You see a lot of birds and wildlife from there. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It's in a walled garden, so it's quiet, but you're not remote. There's a supermarket, some pubs, and takeaways about five minutes' walk away. The woods along the Antonine Wall are even closer, just two minutes. Good for a short walk.
You're right in the middle of Scotland here. Edinburgh airport is 15 minutes by car. Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres are about half an hour each. The Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel are very close. The edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is under 40 minutes' drive if you want bigger hills.
For facilities, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking on site. You can use a BBQ. No pets, sorry.
