Carribber Beech is in Whitecross in West Lothian. It's a mid-terraced cottage, on one floor. You look straight out over Carribber Loch and the woods, which is a nice view. It's inside the grounds of a larger house, and there's a trout fishery on the lochs.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy if you've got a few couples. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main living area is open plan and doors lead out to a private patio.
The windows are good but the loch view means it can get a bit midgey in summer, so you'll want some spray. The entrance and internal doors are wheelchair accessible.
You can walk right from the door into the woods. For a day out, Linlithgow Palace is about three miles. The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies are about 20 minutes by car. Edinburgh is 25 minutes on the train from Linlithgow, which is easier than driving in.
Glasgow and Stirling are under an hour's drive. Loch Lomond is about the same. The coast is about 17 miles.
For facilities, there's parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and bike storage. You can bring up to two dogs.
