The Kennel
The Kennel is on the grounds of Kinneil House, a big old estate in Polmont. It is one of a set of new holiday houses built in the walled garden. They're modern inside but the setting is quiet and old-fashioned. It's detached and you get a little fenced area for yourself.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. One's usually a kingsize, the other has two singles, but you can change that around if you ask. There's one shower room. Everything is clean and new. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living area is all open plan. There's a sofa, a TV, and a washing machine. Dog things are included if you need them, like a bed and towels. There's an outdoor tap for washing muddy paws. You can bring two dogs.
You're right next to woods and the Antonine Wall for walks. A supermarket and a couple of pubs are five minutes walk away. Falkirk is close. The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel are about ten minutes by car.
Edinburgh and Glasgow are half an hour's drive either way. For bigger trips, the southern edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is about 40 minutes away.
Everything you need is here: bedding, towels, parking, WiFi. There's a BBQ and outdoor seating in your bit of the garden.
