The Woodpile
The Woodpile is in the old walled garden at Kinneil House, near Falkirk. It's one of six places built here. It's called The Woodpile because it's built inside a stack of logs. You walk round the side to get in. It's quite private.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, open plan living and kitchen area. Everything's included, bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a dishwasher and washing machine too.
You can have up to two dogs. There's parking right there.
Outside, there's a shared hot tub and a barbecue area you can use with the other guests. The garden itself is large and walled. You often see deer and rabbits.
Location wise, it's very central. Edinburgh airport is about fifteen minutes in the car. Edinburgh or Glasgow city centres are half an hour away. But you're also two minutes from woodland walks along the line of the Antonine Wall. The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is less than forty minutes to the north.
Obviously, the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies are just down the road. Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument are about twenty five minutes drive. The beach is a fair bit further, about twenty two miles to the Forth.
