Speed The Plough

Speed The Plough is on the edge of Linlithgow, on a working farm and livery yard. You'll see the horses. The cottage is detached and looks out over fields back towards the town.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two are kingsize beds upstairs. One is a twin room downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-fitted.

The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner that heats the place up quickly. The kitchen has good appliances. The dining table fits everyone. The garden is enclosed.

You're about half a mile from the M9, so getting around is easy. Edinburgh is about 20 minutes by train from Linlithgow station. Glasgow is about the same.

Linlithgow itself has a high street with shops and pubs. The palace is right there if you're into history. For walks, the Union Canal path goes through town or you can head up to the hills.

Within a half hour drive you've got Edinburgh city centre, the Kelpies and Helix park near Falkirk, and the start of the Highlands around Stirling. The Forth bridges are worth seeing.

Facilities: there's parking, an electric vehicle charger, a washing machine, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring one dog. The stairs have a stairgate.
