Stag Lodge is near Shieldhill in Stirlingshire. It's a single-storey Scandinavian lodge, so everything's on the ground floor, which is handy. It's detached and sits by itself, so it's quiet.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms: one king-size, one double, and one with twin beds. They all have TVs. There's one family bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate freestanding bath. The living area is open plan with the kitchen and dining space. Double doors open onto a wooden deck with seating.
The lodge has underfloor heating. It's got a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer. There's an electric vehicle charger on site. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden. A path leads down from the deck to a covered hot tub. The views are good, you can see right across to Stirling Castle and the Forth bridges on a clear day.
It's a rural spot on a working farm. Falkirk town is about ten minutes away by car for shops. The main attractions are close. The Falkirk Wheel is about fifteen minutes away. The Kelpies are just a bit further on from there. Stirling Castle is roughly twenty minutes' drive. Linlithgow Palace is about half an hour. For walks, the Pentland Hills or the Campsie Fells are within easy reach.
