Coo Lodge is in Shieldhill, on the outskirts of Falkirk. It's a detached lodge set in a field. The view looks out over the Forth Valley. You can see right across to Stirling Castle and the bridges.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. The whole place is on one level, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is new and well finished. Underfloor heating throughout.
The main living space is open plan. Doors open straight out onto a private deck. The hot tub is under a cover at the front of the lodge. The garden is enclosed. There's a family of sheep in the field in front.
Inside, there's a bathroom with both a shower and a free-standing bath. All bedrooms have a smart TV. There's a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. You also get a dishwasher, a BBQ, and an electric vehicle charger.
Falkirk town is a few minutes' drive. The main thing there is the Falkirk Wheel. The Kelpies are nearby too. For a longer day out, Stirling Castle and Linlithgow Palace are about a 20-minute drive. You can get a train from Falkirk to Edinburgh or Glasgow in roughly half an hour.
The beach is about 25 miles away, so that's a bit of a trip. It's more for countryside and history here.
