Lawford Lodge is near Bonnybridge on our dairy farm. I live on site, in the main house. The lodge is detached and all on one level, so no stairs to worry about. It looks out over the fields to the hills.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's bright and spacious. The kitchen has a range cooker and there's a utility room off it for coats and boots. The garden is large and enclosed, with a deck and a bit of play equipment for kids.
Being a farm, there are cattle and sheep in the fields around you. If I'm not too busy, I can sometimes show you around the farm or the duck pond. You can also bring a horse, there's a field here and riding centres nearby.
The local pub and shop are about two miles away in Bonnybridge. For a day out, The Falkirk Wheel is about five miles. They do boat trips and have a waterpark. The Helix park with The Kelpies is nearby too. Falkirk town has shops and Callendar House.
You're about halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, both around 40 minutes in the car. There's a train station with park and ride a few miles away if you'd rather not drive in.
In terms of what's here: all the bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. The garden has a barbecue. There's parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
