The Lune

The Lune is a holiday lodge in Wennington, which is in the Lune Valley. It's detached and looks out over fields. It gets a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard.

It sleeps ten people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suite showers. One room is set up for kids, with built-in cabin beds. All the bedrooms have TVs.

The main living space is open plan. There's a kitchen, a dining table that seats ten, and sofas. The patio doors go out to the garden. Outside, there's a stone patio with a firepit and a private hot tub.

For facilities: it has WiFi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. There's a kids' play area on site. Sorry, no pets.

Wennington is a small village. It's on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. There's a train station here with links to Lancaster. You're about a 30 minute drive from a lot of different places.

You can get to the Yorkshire Dales, including Ingleton for the waterfall walk and caves, in under half an hour. Yorkshire Dales National Park has more information. Kirkby Lonsdale is close by for a wander around the market town. The start of the Three Peaks walk is about 15 minutes away.

You can also get to the southern Lake District, like Windermere, in about 30 minutes. Lake District National Park is the place for details on that. Morecambe seafront is in the other direction, for a proper seaside trip.

If you need more space, this lodge can be booked with the other properties next to it for bigger groups.
