Enroot Cottage

Enroot Cottage is in Ingleton, right in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a two-up two-down stone cottage, sleeps four. The rating's 4 Star, which I think reflects the work that's gone into it.

It's been done up inside with a lot of handmade and reclaimed things. The kitchen worktop is zinc, the breakfast bar is an old table. The living room has a wood burner. Upstairs, the main bedroom is a double. The second bedroom has a custom triple bunk bed: a small double on the bottom, a single on top. The bathroom sink is a metal fire bowl. The stairs are typical for a cottage like this, so they're a bit steep and narrow.

Outside, there's a small patio area with a table and chairs. You can bring one dog.

Ingleton village is a two minute walk. There's a couple of pubs that do food, a shop, a butchers, and an outdoor heated swimming pool. The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail starts in the village. Ingleborough is right there if you want to walk up it.

You're well placed for the Three Peaks. Settle and Hawes are about twenty minutes by car. Yorkshire Dales National Park has all the walking information. Malham Cove is about half an hour away. The Lake District is just over the other side of the M6, so you can reach places like Kirkby Lonsdale or Kendal in under thirty minutes.

Facilities here: All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, a cot, and parking for one car on the street outside.
