Mount Cottage
Mount Cottage is in Green, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It's a single-storey cottage, one of a terrace of three that used to be farm buildings. You get your own patio and two parking spots.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and has what you need. The living area is open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all in one room. That's fine for a couple.
It's very quiet. The view from the patio looks out over fields towards Ingleborough. You get proper dark skies at night. The cottage is all electric, with storage heaters. There's a wood burner in the living area too, which is nice in the colder months.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Good walking starts pretty much from the door. The famous Three Peaks area, including Ingleborough, is on your doorstep. For a good day out, the walk around Malham Cove and Gordale Scar is about a 30 minute drive. The market town of Settle is about the same distance, and that's where you get the Settle to Carlisle railway.
The village of High Bentham is a couple of miles away for a co-op and a few shops. Ingleton is a bit further, maybe a ten minute drive. It's got cafes, an outdoor pool, and the waterfall walk.
Inside, there's a walk-in shower, a TV, wifi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
