Jacob's Barn

Jacob's Barn is a converted barn on our farm in Ramshorn. It's one of three barns here, all done up similarly. It's for two people.

The bed's upstairs on a mezzanine. You go up a staircase to get to it. It's a double bed. Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, table, sofa, and a TV. The shower room is down there too. There's a small enclosed courtyard out the front with a table and chairs. The view from there is across our fields.

It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. You get your bedding and towels. We also allow one well-behaved dog.

You can walk straight from the door onto footpaths. The Tissington Trail and High Peak Trail are both nearby for cycling or walking. Peak District National Park is right on our doorstep.

Ashbourne is about 15 minutes' drive. It's a nice market town with shops and pubs. Dovedale and the stepping stones are close to there. Alton Towers is very nearby, maybe two miles. If you want something quieter, Ilam Hall and Park is about 20 minutes away.

There's parking for one car. You've got WiFi, and the electricity is included.
