Middles Cottage

Middles Cottage is in East Woodburn. It's a mid terrace stone cottage. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.

There's a wood burning stove. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so a bit steep. There's a small conservatory at the back with a table.

The garden is at the rear. It's quiet here. You hear sheep and the river. It's in a Dark Sky area, so the stars at night are very clear if the weather's good.

There are two pubs. They're about a 15 or 20 minute walk along the river. Both are friendly.

For days out, Kielder Water and Forest Park is about a 30 minute drive. Hadrian's Wall is within half an hour. Corbridge Roman Town is about the same. The Northumberland coast, like Craster or Alnwick, is just over half an hour away.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. There's space for bikes. No pets.
