The Studio is in Bellingham, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. It's a converted stable in our garden, but it's entirely separate. You'll have your own space.
It's for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star rating. We've kept it simple and light inside, with wooden beams. There's underfloor heating.
The garden is shared with us, but we're often not in it. There's a seating area that gets the evening sun. You're welcome to use the barbecue. We can store bikes if you bring them.
Bellingham is a five minute walk. There's a couple of good pubs that do food, a small supermarket, and some nice cafes. The river walk by the town is pleasant.
You're right on the doorstep for the National Park. Kielder Water and Forest is about a 15 minute drive north. The walking and cycling trails there are excellent. It's also a Dark Sky Park, so on a clear night the stars are incredible.
Hadrian's Wall is a short drive south. You can access a lot of the sites from here. Hexham is about half an hour away if you need a bigger town or a train station. The coast, like Alnmouth or Bamburgh, is just over an hour's drive.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, all bedding and towels are provided. Parking is right outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
