North Star Apartment Greenhaugh

North Star is a one bedroom apartment in Greenhaugh. It's for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's detached, so you've got your own space.

It's in Northumberland National Park. It's very quiet here. There are no street lights. At night, the sky is completely dark. If it's clear, you can see a lot of stars.

The living area is open plan. There's a wood burning stove. We supply some logs to get you started. It's got a bathroom with a shower. The bedroom has an en-suite.

Outside, there's a private patio area with a table and chairs. You can park right outside.

There are two other apartments on the same site. Little Star is smaller. Stargazer, above, is bigger. You can book them together if you're in a bigger group.

The village is small. For a pub or to get food shopping, you'd drive to Bellingham or Otterburn. They're about ten minutes away.

You can walk or cycle straight from the door. Kielder Water is close. It's a big reservoir. They do water sports and there's a visitor centre with a cafe. The forest has walking trails and a special astronomy observatory.

Further out, within about half an hour, you can get to bits of Hadrian's Wall, like at The Sill. The Northumberland coast, with the castles and beaches, is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.

Facilities include a dishwasher, WiFi, and all bedding and towels. The electricity is included. Sorry, no pets.
