Sweethope Croft 2
Sweethope Croft 2 is in Thockrington. It's one of two cottages by a fishing lake, Sweethope Lough. The view is good, just over the water from your garden. It's all on one level inside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Expect beams and a wood burning stove. The cottages are next to each other and a door between them can be opened if you book both.
It's quiet here, but you should know the lake is used for activities like fishing and boating. In summer, areas near the cottages can be busier. It's part of the estate.
The facilities are what you'd need. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right there. The garden is enclosed. We take one well-behaved dog.
For getting out, you're in Northumberland. Kielder Water & Forest Park is about half an hour's drive north. Hadrian's Wall is a similar drive south. The Northumberland National Park is all around you.
