Newonstead Bothy Great Bavington

Newonstead Bothy is on our farm near Great Bavington. It's a converted stone barn. It's just for two people.

You get one room upstairs. It's open plan, so the bedroom, living area and kitchen are all together. There's a shower room on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and has what you need. The stairs inside are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but just so you know.

It's quiet here. You can see fields from the windows. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. Outside, there's a private patio with a table and chairs. The garden is enclosed, so a dog would be fine. We can show you which fields you're welcome to walk in.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. We leave tea and coffee for when you arrive. There's a map on the wall for planning days out. You can park right outside.

You're in the countryside, but the A69 is only a couple of miles away. That makes getting about easier. Corbridge is about 20 minutes by car. It's an old town with nice pubs and shops. Wallington Hall is close, maybe 10 minutes drive. For a bigger trip, Hexham or the Northumberland coast are within half an hour.
