Cobweb Cottage is on our farm, near Elsdon village. It's a one bedroom place for two people. There are three other cottages here too, but yours is separate. You get your own little garden area.
It's a simple, clean sort of place. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's a stone cottage, so the rooms are cosy, not massive. Everything you need is there: a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a washing machine. The bed is made up for you. There's parking right outside.
You can walk around the farm land, about 20 acres. We've put a picnic table outside your cottage. There's also a platform up the hill we built for looking at the stars. This whole area is a Dark Sky Park, so on a clear night you can see a lot. You can book a stargazing kit from us if you want.
The local pub is about a mile's walk down the lane in Elsdon. It's a proper village pub. The nearest shop is in Otterburn, about three miles away.
You're right in the Northumberland National Park. For walking, you can start from the door. For a drive, the coast at Alnmouth or Bamburgh is under an hour. Hadrian's Wall is about the same. Kielder Water is roughly half an hour away.
A couple of things plainly: the WiFi works, but it's a farm, so it's not super fast. And no pets, I'm afraid.
