Cobweb Cottage
Cobweb Cottage is just outside Elsdon, in Northumberland National Park. It's a small cottage, one of four on the same farm. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The cottage is separate. You get your own front door. There's a picnic table outside. The windows look out over fields. It's quiet.
You're welcome to walk through the farm's land, about 20 acres of fields and woodland. There's a local pub a mile away in the village. A shop is about three miles away.
For things to do, you're in the middle of it. Hadrian's Wall is under an hour's drive. The Northumberland coast, places like Alnwick and Bamburgh, is also less than an hour. Kielder Water is about half an hour. For walking routes and information, the Northumberland National Park site is useful.
Inside, it's got a shower, a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. The bedding is included. There's parking right outside. No pets.
The owners live on site and offer some extra things you can book, like stargazing kits or beauty treatments. You don't have to do any of that. It's just there if you want it.
