This is Grooms Cottage. It's a small one-bedroom place for two people. It's one of four cottages on the same site, near the village of Elsdon in Northumberland.
The cottage has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. You've got your own parking space right outside. Inside, there's the one bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a living area, and a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The WiFi works fine.
You're in the Northumberland National Park here. It's quiet. The cottage looks out over fields. You can walk through about twenty acres of the farm's land, which is woodland and pasture. There's a pub about a mile away in Elsdon village.
The owners run some extra things from the farm if you're interested. They have a cabin for massages and beauty treatments. There's also a stargazing platform you can book, with blankets and hot chocolate, which makes sense because the dark skies here are very good. You can sometimes see the Northern Lights. There's a wooden lodge platform for yoga too, if you want to book a session.
For things to do, riding stables are within walking distance. The market town of Rothbury is about 13 miles, and Otterburn is 4 miles. The coast and Hadrian's Wall are both under an hour's drive. Kielder Water is about 30 minutes away.
