Grooms Cottage
Grooms Cottage is in Elsdon, in the Northumberland National Park. It's a one bedroom cottage, sleeps two. There's one bathroom with a shower.

You're on a farm, so you can walk around the 20 acres of fields and woods here. There's a pub about a mile away in the village. The nearest shop is about three miles away in Otterburn.
For walking, you're right in it. You can just step out the door. The Northumberland National Park website has maps and ideas. Hadrian's Wall is less than an hour's drive west. The coast, like Alnwick or Bamburgh, is about the same drive north.
We've got a star gazing platform here because the skies are so dark. There's a kit you can hire with binoculars and blankets. There's also a little cabin on site for massages, if you want to book that.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
You can't bring pets. And it's one of four cottages here, so you might see other guests.
