Broomstick Cottage is in Elsdon, in Northumberland National Park. It's one of four cottages on the same site. You're in the middle of farmland. It's quiet.
The cottage sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star property, so it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. There's an open plan living area downstairs.
The facilities are what you'd expect: a TV, WiFi, a washing machine. Bedding is included. There's parking right outside. You can store bikes. No pets.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is three miles, in Otterburn.
You can walk straight out into the fields and woodland here. It's good walking country. Horse riding is available nearby. For fishing, there's Caistron Lake.
If you want to drive out, Rothbury is about 13 miles. The coast and Hadrian's Wall are both under an hour's drive. Kielder Water is roughly half an hour away.
This is an official Dark Sky area. The owners have a stargazing platform you can book. They also offer yoga or massage sessions in a cabin on the farm.
You can book Broomstick Cottage with the others if you need space for a bigger group.
