Broomstick Cottage is in Elsdon, Northumberland. It's one of four cottages here, next to a farm. Ours sleeps four. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's rated 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. You get the place to yourselves.
The cottage is in the Northumberland National Park. It's very quiet. You can walk through about 20 acres of the farm's land, which is fields and woodland. There are picnic tables outside with good views.
There's a pub in the village, about a mile away. The nearest shop is in Otterburn, three miles from here. Rothbury is about 13 miles away for more shops.
If you're here for walking or cycling, you're in the right place. The park is right outside. Hadrian's Wall is under an hour's drive. The Northumberland coast, like Alnwick or Bamburgh, is also within an hour. Kielder Water is about half an hour away if you want to go over that way.
For facilities, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's parking right by the cottage. No pets, sorry.
