It's called Northern Hideaways. It's a detached bungalow on the edge of Otterburn village. There are no neighbours attached, so it's quiet. You get the whole place.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is an ensuite with a roll-top bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It means it's well looked after and comfortable.
The main thing is the space. There's a living room with a wood burner, and then a big conservatory off the back. The kitchen looks out west over fields towards the Paden Hills. You get good sunsets.
The pub and a restaurant are about five minutes walk up the lane. The village shop is a bit further. It's got the basics. Bellingham is about nine miles away for a bigger supermarket.
You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. For a day out, Kielder Water and Forest Park is roughly half an hour's drive. It's a huge reservoir with walking and cycling. It's also a Dark Sky Park, which is good for stargazing if that's your thing.
The coast is about an hour's drive. You can go to Alnwick Castle, or just walk the beaches. Hadrian's Wall is also within an hour.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and everything is on the ground floor.
