Leafy Run is one of two lodges here, near Otterburn. It's detached, with its own deck and a hot tub. The other one, Reiver's Rest, is a bit different but similar in size. They're both here on the park.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is open plan. It’s all on one level so there aren't any stairs, which is good for accessibility. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The site has a restaurant that's been done up. The village of Otterburn is less than a mile away for a pub and a shop. There are a couple of big wedding venues nearby, so sometimes guests book the lodges for those.
You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. The park itself is inside a Dark Sky Park, so if it's a clear night the stars are very good. For walking, you can start from the door into the woods, or drive a short way into the Park proper.
Bellingham isn't far and has a few pubs and shops. Hadrian's Wall is only a few miles away, with all the Roman forts. Kielder Water and Forest are about a 30 minute drive north. Heading east, you can get to Hexham, Rothbury, or Alnwick and the coast in under an hour.
There's parking right next to the lodge. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
