Piglet Cottage is in Elsdon, Northumberland. It's part of a little group of four cottages on a farm. You get your own cottage, but you share the grounds with other guests.
The cottage sleeps four. There are three bedrooms, but only one bathroom. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable but basic. Everything you need is there.
The main thing is the location. It's very quiet and right in the Northumberland National Park. You can walk through about twenty acres of the farm's fields and woods. There's a star gazing platform and a hut for yoga or massages, which you can book if you want.
Elsdon village has a pub about a mile away. The nearest shop is about three miles, in Otterburn. Rothbury is a nice market town, about a twenty minute drive. For history, Hadrian's Wall is under an hour. The Northumberland coast, like Alnmouth or Bamburgh, is also within an hour. Kielder Water is about half an hour away.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
No pets, sorry. If you're coming with a bigger group, you can book the other cottages here together.
