This is Heatherlea. It's in Otterburn, up a quiet lane at the top of the village. It's detached, so you won't have neighbours on the other side of the wall.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, along with the main bathroom. The other two are up a level, but the layout is a bit different because of an extension. The master bedroom is up some steps, and has its own shower room. The fourth bedroom is down a few steps from there.
The place has been done up recently. It's clean and fresh. There's an open fire in the lounge, which is nice in the evenings. The kitchen has a sun room off it. It's a bright spot, looks out over the garden and the fields.
The garden is enclosed. There's parking right there. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Everything you'd expect is here: WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Things for small children if you need them: a cot, highchair, stairgate.
Otterburn itself is quiet. There's a local pub you can walk to. It's proper walking country straight from the door. For a wider choice of pubs and shops, Rothbury is about a 20 minute drive. Alnwick, with its castle and famous garden, is just over half an hour away. The coast, like Alnmouth or Bamburgh, is within 40 minutes if you fancy the beach.
