The Haining
The Haining is near Elsdon, north of Otterburn. It's detached and sits on its own land with views over fields. You're about a mile from the village itself.
It sleeps six. There are two king-size bedrooms and then a third sleeping area up on a mezzanine level, which is open to the room below. Two bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen is open plan with a table and a second sitting area by the fire. There's a separate lounge with another open fire. We leave wood for you.
Outside, there's a garden that's enclosed. There's also a detached boot room for coats and boots, with a washing machine. Another outbuilding is there for storing bikes.
You'll need a car. The nearest pub is in Elsdon, about a mile's walk down the lane. The property is off a winding road, so the approach is part of the experience.
For days out, you're well placed for the Northumberland National Park. Kielder Water is about a 30 minute drive. The coast, like Alnwick and Bamburgh, is within an hour. Hadrian's Wall is also easily reachable.
Facilities include the wifi, dishwasher, parking, and bedding. We take up to three dogs.
