Set only a short stroll from the friendly village pub serving great food, this wonderful home from home has some lovely touches throughout to ensure you really do have a special time. With robes in the master room and plenty of bathrooms, it suits all age groups. Completely renovated in 2022 its modern design has been mixed with original features to retain the character and charm of this 1800s cottage.
West Woodburn is a small village which lies in the valley of the Rede just off of the A68, making travel easily accessible in all directions to discover the many delights that Northumberland offers. This beautiful and diverse county has one of the most stunning National Parks nearby where a visit to Kielder water is a must. Bellingham nearby has a golf course, shops and amenities whilst the store in the village can provide you with local produce during your stay. Nearby there is ample walking for all abilities whether it’s a stroll along the River Rede, or going off to the Pennine Way and Cheviot Hills. Everywhere is easily accessible from here even the coast is only an hour away where you can spend a lovely day discovering the golden beaches and castles. Don’t forget Hadrian’s Wall stretching from east to west, which was built by the Romans and is popular with all ages. Should you wish to be well prepared for your arrival you can order an online shop from one of the large supermarkets nearby.
