4 Dolphins is a ground-floor apartment in Connel. It's right on the water, on Loch Etive. We live next door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's kept to a high standard. The whole front of the living room is glass, so you get a full view of the loch. There's a sun-deck that's enclosed, so it's safe if you've got kids or dogs. You'll see seals and seabirds from there.
Connel village is a short walk. There's a shop, a train station, and a few places to eat and drink. The Falls of Lora are just under the bridge, about five minutes away. It's a tidal rapid, it's quite something to see.
Oban is about ten minutes' drive south. That's where you get the ferries to Mull and the other islands. It's a proper working town with good seafood places. Dunstaffnage Castle is five minutes away, and there's an Ocean Explorer Centre at Dunbeg.
If you go north over the bridge, you're in Benderloch in about ten minutes. That's where Tralee Beach is, and there are woodland walks. The cycle route goes from Oban all the way to Fort William from there.
For a day out, Inveraray with its castle and jail is about 40 minutes. Glencoe and Fort William are under an hour's drive. You can get to the "Bridge over the Atlantic" to the Isle of Seil in about half an hour.
Facilities: it's got parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
