Dalvuie Beag Ardchattan

Dalvuie Beag is our farmhouse. It's detached and sits just below Ben Lora.

The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, but it's not a show home. It's an old farmhouse.

You're on a working farm. We've got a small herd of cows and some sheep in the fields around you. The place is quiet. The views from the windows are of the fields and the hills in the distance.

You're not far from the coast here. Loch Etive is close, and there are a few beaches a short drive away. The nearest shop and pub is about two miles up the road in Benderloch.

For things to do, Oban is roughly twelve miles south. That's where you'll find the ferry terminal for the islands, and most of the shops and restaurants. The National Trust for Scotland's Glasdrum Wood is nearby if you like woodland walks. Historic Environment Scotland's Stalker's Museum at Bonave is just along the lochside too.

Inside the house there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. We've included all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. WiFi is there but it's rural, so it's fine for browsing but not for streaming films. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking right outside.
