Tidereach - Otters View is part of a steading at Black Crofts, near Connel. It’s the upstairs bit of the building. The views are the main thing. You look right over Loch Etive towards the Falls of Lora and Mull. It’s good for watching the water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable. There’s a woodburning stove for cooler nights.
The place is all on one level once you’re inside, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. The garden and patio are shared with the other cottage downstairs, but it’s enclosed. You can park right there.
There’s a shop and a pub about a mile away in Connel. Oban is about six miles north. That’s where you get the ferries to Mull and other islands. The coastal railway from Glasgow ends there too.
If you want to walk, the area is good for it. Glencoe is about half an hour's drive north. For history, Staffa and Iona are day trips by ferry from Oban. The Walkhighlands site has local route details.
