Harbour View
This is Harbour View. It's a first-floor apartment right in the middle of Oban. You look out over the harbour.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well-equipped, but it's an apartment, not a detached house. You should know that.
The front door is on the street. You go up a flight of stairs to get into the flat itself. There's no private garden, but you're right there in the town.
You can walk to everything. The shops are about 50 yards away. Pubs and restaurants are maybe 100 to 150 yards. The ferry terminal for Mull and the other islands is a five-minute walk.
Oban's a working town, so it can be busy. There are people and cars. If you want absolute quiet, this isn't it. But if you want to step out the door and be in a pub or pick up some food, it's perfect.
You can get boat trips from the harbour to see wildlife, or go over to Kerrera for a walk. The distillery is here if you like whisky. McCaig's Tower is up the hill, the views from there are good.
For a bigger beach, you'd need to drive a bit, maybe to Ganavan which is about three miles.
If you want to go further, Fort William and Glencoe are about an hour's drive north. Inveraray is about 45 minutes south. The whole west coast is really accessible from here.
Facilities: it's all included. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels. There's a TV. Parking is on-street, so you might have to look for a space, but it's usually alright.
