The Haven is a lodge on the corner of the bay, just outside Oban. It's detached and looks out over the water towards the islands. You get about three acres of land around it to wander.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything you'd expect is there. The driveway is gravel and it's shared with a couple of other lodges, so you might see a neighbour coming or going.
There's a local ferry about 300 yards away. It goes over to the island of Kerrera. You can get a coffee there, see Gylen Castle, and do some walking. It's a nice short trip. The main ferry port at Oban is about two miles away. From there you can get the ferry to Mull for a day out to places like Iona or Tobermory.
The Puffin Dive Centre is right opposite if you're into that sort of thing. You can do snorkelling or try a scuba dive. There's sea fishing nearby too. For a proper beach, you'd need to drive about four miles.
You've got a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a mile and a half away in the village.
It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
