Bay View Apartment
Bay View Apartment is in Oban town centre, on the second floor. It's above the main street, so you're close to everything but it's quiet when you're inside.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a view over the bay. The other two are single rooms, good for kids. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
The living room has windows on two sides, so it's bright. You can see the harbour from there. The kitchen is basic but has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You're right in the middle of town. Shops, restaurants, the train station and the ferry terminal are all a few minutes' walk. A kayaking centre launches into the bay practically outside. For a proper beach, Ganavan Sands is a couple of miles up the road.
Oban's the main ferry port for the islands like Mull and Iona. There are castles nearby, like Dunollie and Dunstaffnage. If you drive for an hour or so, you can get to Glencoe, Fort William for Ben Nevis, or Inveraray.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, electricity. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
