Puffin - Dubh Segir
This is Puffin Cottage, or Dubh Sgeir. It's out by the boatyard, about two miles from Oban town centre. You're looking over the water, straight across to the island of Kerrera. It's quiet out here.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating so it's clean and comfortable. The living room has patio doors that open onto a private balcony. It's a good spot to sit and watch the boats.
You're opposite the Puffin Dive Centre if you want to try snorkelling or diving. The ferry over to Kerrera is a five minute walk away. It's cheap and runs hourly. The island has a cafe, a castle, and some good walking paths. There's also an old drovers path from near the cottage that leads right into Oban.
Oban itself is where you'll find most of the shops and restaurants. The main ferry terminal there goes to Mull. From Mull you can get to Iona and Staffa. Tobermory is on Mull too.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's wifi, a TV, parking, and bedding is included. You can bring one dog. There's a small garden and a barbecue.
