Torlochan
Torlochan is in Oban, on Glencruitten Road. It's a quiet street but you can walk into the town centre in a few minutes.
It's a two bedroom cottage that sleeps four, all on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was our family home for a while, so we've tried to make it comfortable. The doors are extra wide and there's a walk-in shower.
There's a small private bit out the back, with a cliff face. At the front there's a little sitting out area.
The shop is about 150 yards away, and a pub and restaurant are about 200 yards. Glencruitten Golf Course is just up the road. If you carry on walking you get onto the estate paths, which have good views over the town.
Oban's a busy harbour town. It's called the gateway to the isles because the ferries leave from here for Mull, Iona and others. There are a lot of good places to eat seafood. Ganavan Sands beach is about a mile's drive along the coast.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Dunollie Castle and Dunstaffnage Castle. You can get to Glencoe or Fort William in about an hour.
For facilities: there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
