Torlochan is on Glencruitten Road in Oban. It's a quiet street but you're only a few minutes' walk from the town centre.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've renovated it to be on one level, so there are no steps inside. There's a ramp at the back door and extra wide doors. The shower is a walk-in type.
The cottage is decorated simply. There are some family pictures on the walls. Out the back there's a small private area with a natural cliff face. At the front, there's a little spot to sit.
You can walk to the shops, a cafe, and a pub in a couple of minutes. For a swim, Ganavan Sands beach is about a mile up the coastal road.
If you go further up Glencruitten Road, you'll find the golf course and the riding stables. There are good walks on Glencruitten Estate with views over the town. The back roads lead out to Glen Lonan and Loch Nell.
Oban's the main ferry port for the islands like Mull and Iona. There are lots of places to eat, especially for seafood. Within about half an hour's drive you can get to Dunstaffnage Castle or Kilchurn Castle. In under an hour you can reach Glencoe or Fort William.
Facilities include a washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
