Airds Apartment
Airds Apartment is here in Oban town. It's on the first floor, above a shop, but it has its own front door off the main square so you're separate from the business downstairs. You're right in the middle of things.
It's a 4 Star place, sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one shower room. The stairs are carpeted but they're a typical tenement stair, so they're a bit steeper than a modern house.
Inside, it's open plan. The living room, kitchen and dining area are all one space. Windows look out over the street to the little river that runs through town. You sometimes see ducks. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher and washing machine. It's a quiet spot considering you're so central.
You're minutes from the ferry terminal if you're going to the islands, like Mull or Lismore. The main town shops, pubs and restaurants are right outside. For a walk, you can go along the Esplanade or up through the woods to Dunollie Castle. Ganavan Sands beach is about a mile north, you can walk or drive there.
There's a lot to do locally: boat trips from the bay, kayaking, horse riding at Glencruitten, and the golf course is there too. If you want to go further, Fort William and Glencoe are under an hour's drive for bigger hills.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
