Inveree is a villa on the hill above Oban. It's detached. The views over the harbour are very good.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was renovated a few years ago so everything works and is in good order. The stairs wind round a bit, which is normal for a house of this age.
You can walk into Oban. It's about ten minutes downhill to the main shops and the ferry terminal. There are a lot of places to eat and drink. The distillery is down there too. For a walk from the door, you can follow the bay towards the Kerrera ferry, or go the other way past Dunollie Castle.
The house has two sitting rooms at the front, both with those harbour views. The kitchen is at the back and is well equipped. There's a utility room and a toilet on the ground floor too.
Outside, there is a garden at the back. It is enclosed, but it's also quite steep. Just something to be aware of if you have young children or dogs.
You're well placed for day trips. You can get ferries from Oban to Mull and Iona. Driving north, Glencoe and Fort William are about an hour away. To the east, Inveraray Castle is worth a visit. Going south, the coast is very nice. Kilmartin Glen is interesting for the ancient stones.
Facilities: parking for two cars on the drive. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
