Inveree is a villa just outside Oban town centre. It’s detached, on a hill, so you look out over the harbour. You can walk into town in about ten minutes.
The house sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was renovated a few years ago so everything's in good order.
The views from the front rooms are the main thing. You can see the whole bay. The stairs are a typical old house staircase, they wind around a bit.
The garden at the back is enclosed, but it's on a steep slope. Kids would need watching there. There's parking for two cars on the gravel drive at the front.
You're close to everything in Oban. Shops, the pub, restaurants. The ferry terminal is a walk away too, for trips to Mull or Kerrera. There's a good walk from the house along the bay to the Kerrera ferry slip.
If you're driving, you can get to a lot in under an hour. Glencoe and Fort William are north. To the east, Inveraray Castle is worth a visit. South, you've got Kilmartin Glen for the ancient stones. Further on is the Kintyre peninsula.
For facilities, it's got the standard things. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
