Ferry View is our place in Oban. It's a third-floor flat above a shop on the main street. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the harbour to the island of Kerrera. You can sit there and watch the ferries going out to the islands all day. At night, you see McCaig's Tower lit up on the hill. It's good.
Because it's up three flights, the stairs are a bit of a climb. Just so you know. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need.
You're right in the town. Everything is a short walk: the train station, the ferry terminal, shops, and plenty of places to eat and drink. You don't really need the car once you're here.
From the door, you can walk along the front or up to the folly. For a proper day out, you can get the ferry to Mull from the pier. It's about 45 minutes to Glencoe by car. Fort William is about an hour and a half.
It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's no parking with the flat, but there's a long-stay car park a few minutes' walk away.
